Dr. Christopher Stief
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Christopher Stief co-founded DATA CASTLE in 2022 and leads the business as its Chief Executive. Christopher is a data center expert with proven track records from large colocation- and hyperscale developments to aggregate more than 250 MW, primarily across Tier 1 and Tier 2 European data center markets. Christopher was previously a Senior Director at a leading family office in Germany, where he was commercially responsible for data center site origination, development and execution for the firm’s digital infrastructure fund. Prior to that, Christopher worked as Executive Project Manager to CEO at e-shelter (NTT Global Data Centers EMEA), a leading international data center operator, where he focused on site identification and development. He began his career in the strategic practice at Amazon. Christopher earned a doctoral degree (PhD) from Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz in business administration, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Alliant University of San Diego, California.

Dirk Pohl
Chief Operation Officer
“My passion is datacenter operations, people and best in class customer service”
Dirk is a data center operation expert and COO of DATA CASTLE. He worked for more than 15 years at NTT Data Centers as Managing Director in Germany, as well as a regional- and site manager. Dirk has developed and operated data centers for many years. He holds a degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of applied sciences in Munich.

Jörgen Venot
Chief Sales Officer
„One Man, One Word“
Jörgen is an industry veteran with over 20 years in international business development of which 12+ years in the global IT and datacenter business.
He is a French national, born in Sweden, and raised in a very international environment. He did his MBA studies across France, U.K. and Germany. Jörgen has worked for French, Spanish, German, Luxemburg and US companies. He speaks 5 langages and his DNA makes him a connector and bridge builder.
As a former employee of Etix Everywhere (now Vantage) and Data Center Group, where he worked directly with the Founders both times, Jörgen initiated multiple strategic partnerships in Brazil, the DACH Region and the Nordic countries.
He also initiated joint-ventures and co-colocation deals including a 1MW colocation project in Belgium, an 8MW HPC in Sweden, and what became a +40MW HPC project in Iceland.
Jörgen is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Online Sustainability Strategy Program.

Marcus Köhler is the Chief Strategy and Technology Officer. Marcus is a data center veteran with more than 30 years of industry experience. He holds a degree in computer technology and has held responsible positions with international market leaders, including Hewlett-Packard, Rittal and e-shelter / NTT.
Pascal Ubrig

Pascal Ubrig has more than 14 years of experience in the construction industry. He studied civil engineering and worked for national and international general contractors and architectural firms. As project manager at Züblin and Kleinundarchitekten, he successfully implemented projects at Frankfurt's top locations. As Senior Construction Engineer at Collen Construction Ltd, he implemented the FRA1 data center for Iron Mountain Corporation.

Christopher Stumm

Before joining DATA CASTLE Christopher held the global responsibility with the Bosch for data center engagements related to Bosch's SOFC venture. This included, guiding strategy development while successfully establishing key alliances and leading the formation of an internal data center organization. Christopher's journey to Bosch followed a data center-centric career path, where he had a key role at NTT Global Data Centers (formerly e-shelter) by co-leading its innovation platform. He initiated his career with Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Christopher holds a Master’s degree in Sales Management from FOM University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University.

Michael Kacprzycki
Senior Project Manager
„Communication is the key for a successful project“
As an architect in one of the leading architectural offices, Michael successfully managed data center projects for 8 years.
During this time, he worked with many international clients. With his Master's degree in Sustainable Building from the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt am Main, he has resource-efficient design and construction in his blood, which is an essential foundation of DATA CASTLE.
As Senior Project Manager, Michael has an important role in the Development, Design & Construction department.
Martin Pfeiffer
Operations & Ramp-Up Manager
„Impressed by the technology, and excited to master it“
Martin has many years of experience in operating highly available data centers.
In addition to his role as a manager within data center operations, he has transferred new facilities and systems into operation in several ramp-up projects, trained staff, accompanied test phases and developed standardized maintenance processes.
At DATA CASTLE he is responsible for standardizing and implementing the operations, security, facility and health & safety processes across all locations.
Martin is a qualified industrial master in electrical engineering and will also soon complete his degree as Master Professional of Technical Management.
Cindy Tschöp

Cindy has experience as an executive assistant and in event and project management. She has previously worked for event and trade show agencies as well as for an international private equity fund.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on event, trade show and conference management.
Alexandra Fillibeck

Alexandra is an expert in office management, office organization, marketing & events and supports the entire team of DATA CASTLE externally on a freelance basis. In more than 25 years as Executive Assistant to CEO at one of the leading company in the field of real estate project development in Munich, she gained broad insights into almost all areas of business as well as event organization. With her great organizational talent and leveraging her broad network of industry connections and experts, she supports DATA CASTLE in the development of internal structures and processes, in the area of human resources and controlling, as well as trade shows and events.
